I have an Over 0.5 FHG strategy that if the BTTS Yes price has drifted out past a certain odds range,  then its a "No Trade".

How do I set the bot for an Over 0.5 FHG strategy using the BTTS Yes price as a "market condition"?

You can use "Selection conditions->Bet if specific market selection is in price range" rule to check odds of BTTS selection for price range. Make sure that BTTS market is loaded to the main MARKETS grid view. For more details on this rule please read manual:

Also, I only want the BTTS Yes price from before the game goes in play, not the price once the game has kicked off.

Do I just tick the "check price from before in play" box on the "Bet if specific market selection is in price range" page?

Yes, make sure that market is loaded before in play so that bot records price before in play.
