Hi Guys,

I'm really looking to try and get into some Tennis Automation, however its like a foreign language to me, as to was settings do what.

you don't happen to have a a basic template or example of a bot that lays the first set winner, when the winner is on service ?

I'm really struggling.
Any Help is greay appreciated

Hi Gav,

You should create two strategies, one for set score 1:0 (winner is player one) and second one for set score 0:1 (winner is player two). So first strategy will bet on player one (runner by position 1) by using "Bet type by RUNNER position" rule and second strategy will bet on player two (runner by position 2).

Use other rules to check game score and server (indicated with *).

And check manual for details on each rule:

Then try it out in simulation mode.

i have one running in test mode but i cant get the bot to place the bet at the correct point.

For example here are my settings,
I am expecting Player 2 to be layed ( which it is doing)
but only on their first service game . ( which it is not)

are these condition rules correct ?

I am wondering if its simply the server flag being slow in simulation mode.
as the scores change but server takes a bit longer

Yes, server information changes slowly. That information is provided by live score service, but it updates score first and quickly, then server information few seconds later.

Sorry one other thing on this,
Will these conditions pick the correct favourite ?

I would like the pre match underdog who's won the first set to be layed.
if they are in runner position 1 ?

I have checked 'Use favourite positons from before in play'

Settings appear to be ok. You will need to try it out and see if it will work like you expect it to. Please use simulation mode to test it.
