Hi

So I occasionally get this error in the log, and this leads the program to be unresponsive (and then i have to force close it, and subsequently lose the days data).

Maximum number of active requests limit reached! Active: 30

Can you tell me what this means, which might give me a clue on how to resolve?

You are making too many requests to the API and your computer is unable to execute them all in real time. It can be caused by running too many strategies for your CPU, slow network connection, too fast market prices refresh rate etc.

Lower your market prices refresh rate to 2,000 or 3,000ms at "Tools&Settings->Monitoring settings".

Reduce the number of active/started strategies.

And make sure that your computer is not too slow e.g. that it has enough RAM and fast CPU.

Perfect, I had my suspicions about too many strategies and updating too often, so with your guidance on what the message really meant I made some changes as suggested. At least this Saturday and Sunday all worked well, so that is a good sign. Many thanks.
