I have a football strategy that bets before kick off. I run this strategy twice (once as a duplicate).
They are 5 minutes apart before taking a bet.
I have set The Maximum number of matched bets per runner to one, yet both versions of the strategy took the same bet. Is the Max..... applicable to the strategy? If so is there another way of doing it?

Each strategy works for it self, so you cannot use that rule to prevent some other strategy from placing same bets.

To prevent strategies betting on same selections you should use "Selection conditions->Only if specified strategy has bets" rule and set it to allow betting if another strategy does not have matched/unmatched bets on the same selection. For more details on this rule please read the manual:
