Hi,

I want to create a very simple test system to lay all runners in the place market that have a PLACE lay price between 3 and 4 1m before the race.

Have I done it correctly or do I need to add anything else.

Do I need to specify each runner seperately.

You did not set bet type, back or lay. To bet on all runners you should use "Default bet type" rule, but please take time to read the manual for details on how to create strategies and then test them in simulation mode without risking any real money:
