i did say,after i posted the settings that they would not work.
because as soon as you hit a win the sequence restarts, so you will never reach the 1.3.
so you will have to execpt the losses and go back to 0=1,1=.01,2=.01

Thanks Cartex, I've got do not allow more than 0 unsettled bets set.
I've also got any fav in price range except the 1st fav.
Thanks Mcbee. The 1.3 stakes are hit only if there wasn't a winning bet from the 2 previous 0.01 bets....well that's the theory but in practice, it's not working but i don't know why.
re previous screenshot 4.
see losing bet at 1312 followed by winner 0.01. That's OK.
but then the next bet lost at 0.03 which should have been another loss of say 2.12, because the sequence should have re-started.
the losing bet after that shows a loss of 1.64 but should have been a loss of 0.01
then the next bet at 1242 should be a win at 0.01, not 0.53 followed by a re-start loss of 2.28.
The next bet at 1227 should be a win of 0.01
followed by the re-start bet at 1218 correctly shown as 0.53.
phew!....fed-up yet? Maybe I should forget it!

Maybe the best course of action is to ask Rade to make a facility for auto-selecting random races...say, bet 2 or 3 races from every 5 or 6 or whatever?

you have looked at your bets in reverse, you do not bet from 1312 to 1304, you bet 1304 then 1312.
there is only 1 incorrect bet ,that is the 1242, this might have been a late result.

i have come up with a half way method.
set simple sequnce to
1=0.02
2=1.4
3=1.4
4=1.4
5=1
tick only, restart sequence on first losing bet

what this will do is bet .02 of stake on your first bet (not what you wanted but this will be your second bet after a loss)
then it recovers for 3 bets in advance
then normal stake until a loss
then after a loss it bets 0.02 of stake and then recovers.

Hi All,

I am not sure if you already know this, but after reading your posts I thought I should explain few things.

1. Do not allow more than 0 unsettled markets - this option should be turned on and set to zero if you want to get correct sequence of bets. When set to zero it allows bot to have only one market with matched bets, then bot waits for those bets to be settled before it places new bets

2. "Actual Stake" is calculated like this "Stake + Loss Recovery + Increase For Commission". Here "Stake" is calculated by using staking plan and initial stake size from main screen, "Loss Recovery" part is zero if loss recovery is not used otherwise it is calculated by your loss pot recovery settings and "Increase For Commission" is calculated by using "Stake + Loss Recovery" value so that you win your target amount after Betfair takes commission.

3. Make sure that you turn off option to increase stake after X losing bets at Bot Settings form and other options that might effect your stake (see attached screenshot).

It would be best if you turn off loss recovery when using staking plans and to turn off commission until you are sure that your staking plan is working like you want it to.

If it is not possible to make your strategy work with existing staking plans then please send me email with screenshots, explanation and needed changes for your strategy and I will see if it is possible to modify existing staking plan or add new one. It is also possible to create your personal custom staking plan on request...

Hi mcbee, thanks for taking the time to figure out a solution...i will try it out but methinks my strategy is likely to be flawed...but onwards and upwards!

And thanks Rade for the explanation - very helpful for me!
Obviously I'm looking for settings that could make auto-selection profitable....maybe impossible eh?
We have random selection per race but i'd like to see auto- random race selection added.

Right now logic if following:
1. first check restart on winning bet if it is checked
2. first check restart on losing bet if it is checked
3. if 1 and 2 are not checked and restart on last multiplier is checked then restart on last multiplier is used
...

Small update as I made a mistake above, it works like this:

1. first check restart on winning bet if it is checked, if it is checked then if we are on losing run use Xth multiplier and if it is last multiplier then check if restart of sequence on last multiplier is needed or we need to continue using last multiplier

2. first check restart on losing bet if it is checked, if it is checked then if we are on winning run use Xth multiplier and if it is last multiplier then check if restart of sequence on last multiplier is needed or we need to continue using last multiplier

3. if restart on winning and losing bet are not checked and restart on last multiplier is checked then check if last multiplier is reached and if need to restart or keep using last multiplier

Only change in logic is that we always check if we need to restart on end of sequence or not, there is no condition like I wrote at first "3. if 1 and 2 are not checked..."

I am sorry for that mistake, I hope it has not cause you lot of problems.
