Hi Rade,

I Have two strategies set up which contain two selections each to back . (Strategies A and B )These I transfer to the Manage tips area. These work well.

I also have two seperate strategies to back the favourite and second favourite by position in identical races to Strats A and B. I know how to set things up to place a bet on the favourites where Strats A and or B have matched bet in a market, but is there a way to prevent bets on favourites and second favourites being placed by the bot if they duplicate a matched selection in Strats A and/ or B? I can’t find anything in the manual on this point.

Many thanks
Rudyard

You can use "Selection conditions->Only if specified strategy has bets" to check if another strategy does not have matched or unmatched bets on the same selection. You should add this rule to each strategy so that it checks other strategies. That way you will not have any duplicate bets on same selection.

Thanks for such a quick response. Actually I suppose I am looking for the reverse of that rule . When I load the bot around 9am to 10.30 a.m each morning Strategy A and Strategy B have named selections.E.g Strat A picks might be Adam and Annie, and Strat B picks might be Annie and Bertie. Obviously the names of the favourite and second favourite are unknown at that time. When the bot reaches the time to bet it may be perhaps that the favourite is Annie and the second favourite is Charlie. As I will already have backed Annie in Strats A and B I will only want the bot to place a bet on Charlie but not to place a bet on Annie . I can’t see that there is a rule that would let me do this but wonder if I am missing something?

Thanks again

Thanks for that. How did I miss that when I was staring at that option for ages this afternoon. Please accept my apologies. I put it down to a senior moment. !!!! I am what is known as a buck eejit over here in Ireland.
