My problem concerns STEAMERS/DRIFTERS

I designed a scenario that uses ODDS increases - unfortunately, it doesn't meet my expectations; I think I set the parameters incorrectly.

My basic HORSE RACING settings:

Min/Max selection price: Any runner, BACK price, ODDS range 4.0-6.0 (check prices from before in play)

Price change - Steamers/Drifters:
Drifter condition: BACK price goes up by 45% or 50 ticks (in three separate scenarios, I set the ODDS to increase by 45%, 100%, and 140%).

What are the effects of my settings?

1) All three scenarios bought BACK bets at ODDS of 5.8, even though they have different ODDS increase percentages set (45%, 100%, and 140%).

2) Bets were bought in the range of 4.0-6.0 (ODDS of 5.8) even though the maximum amount of money could be bought at ODDS 9.0 (I checked this)

How the scenario should work correctly:

1) Set the ODDS range to 4.0-6.0 (the calculations below are for a minimum odd of 4.0)

2) If the ODDS increase:

a) by 45% - the scenario buys a BACK bet at ODDS of no less than 5.8

b) by 100% - the scenario buys a BACK bet at ODDS of no less than 8.0

c) by 140% - the scenario buys a BACK bet at ODDS of no less than 9.6

3) If the ODDS suddenly rise to 12.0 - all 3 scenarios buy the bet at this price

Please help me set the parameters correctly. Thank you in advance.

At all three strategies you have set that drifter is runner whose price changes by X% or 50 ticks. So horse satisfied second option, that is 50 ticks price change. Change that to zero ticks, so that only percentage value is used. Then try again.

As you wrote, I set the parameters to zero ticks.

I as a reminder, the price increase should be: 45%, 100%, 140%

Below are the effects of this change.

At strategy "Edit->Recording prices" form change back/lay ratio from 50% to 20%.

Turn off option to check prices from before in play at Min/max selection price rule, as you are placing bets before in play.

At "Tools&settings->Monitoring markets" rule set to start monitoring markets 2 days before start time, as you are trying to record min/max prices early and to bet early.

Make sure you are using latest 3.1.27 version.

Then try again and if you keep having problems then please save screenshot of "STEAMERS/DRIFTERS" tab, at menu click on "Select strategy" button and select one of your strategies that placed bets. That will allow you to see which min/max prices your strategy recorded.

If you keep having problems then please save screenshots and send them to us with exported strategy. Also include monitoring settings and screenshot of STEAMERS/DRIFTERS tab.
